Condition of entry: Buy an Energy-Star approved appliance to qualify for a rebate
The popularity of rebates in Kentucky means that the entire pool of funds has been allocated. However, there is good news for consumers who want to inject some money-saving into their budget. There is a possibility of getting on the waiting list for a rebate claim.
How the waiting list works
In any given pool of rebates, there will be a number of unclaimed funds in the rebate pool that residents have not redeemed. Join the waiting list for rebates by calling the following number (1-877-818-6369). When you call this number, you will receive a confirmation number that you can use to claim for rebate funds.
What happens after you are accepted onto the waiting list
Once you have called to be on the waiting list, the following happens: a resident has to print the confirmation page and buy an Energy-Star product to get a rebate. The following step is mailing the confirmation along with the receipt.
Note: There is a time limit of 48 hours to have all of the necessary paperwork such as the confirmation page and the receipt postmarked and sent to the necessary address once you have finished the online application.
