To participate in the Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate program, you must first purchase the appliance and then apply for the rebate.
All of Kentucky's rebate funds have been reserved. However, we anticipate that a large number of reservations will not be redeemed by residents who did not make an actual purchase after reserving funds. Those unused funds will go back into the program for our residents. Accordingly, we have established a waiting list so we may give rebate money as it goes back into the pool on a first-come, first-served basis. To get on the waiting list, residents must apply on-line or call the toll free number (1-877-813-3669) and obtain a confirmation number. Once a Kentucky resident obtains a confirmation page and purchases a qualified product, they must mail that confirmation and valid sales receipt. As these applications are received by mail, they will be placed on the waiting list in order of receipt.
IMPORTANT: please note you must have your paperwork (application confirmation page and proof-of-purchase receipt) postmarked within 48 hours of completing your online application. For phone applications, the 48 hour period starts once the customer has received the application confirmation page in the mail.
